Call Recording Software

VoiceLog LLC was founded in 1996 by three telecommunication executives to provide call recording company on an ASP/Hosted basis. James Veilleux, Larry Leikin and Cynthia Hamilton recognized the need for a recording solution that did not require capital up front – and VoiceLog was born as the first company to provide call recording on a hosted (or service bureau) basis, even before the term "hosted" was coined.

Since then, VoiceLog has grown rapidly and has made INC magazine's Top 500 Fastest Growing Companies two years in a row.

The company's initial success was in the third party verification market. There, VoiceLog leads with more than a 60% market share and has prospered based on sound business principles, innovative technology, and a rapid response to customer needs. Today, VoiceLog offers a broad array of services for call centers, including call recording, quality assurance, and speech analytics.

In addition to the three founding members, Karl Erickson, our Chief Technology Officer, completes the executive management team. Karl is a 20-year veteran of telecom and other technology companies and has a special expertise in high-availability systems. The main VoiceLog offices are in Broomfield, CO and Gaithersburg, MD.

Management

James Veilleux, President

Jim has been involved in many different industries, primarily focused in telecommunications, but also spanning direct marketing, computer services, demographic segmentation, and publishing.

As a product manager at MCI, he directed program and product development and learned how to effectively communicate with IT professionals who support those programs. At U.S. Sprint, he developed an in-depth understanding of direct marketing, especially telemarketing, which is the central application in which VoiceLog systems are used.

At SkyTel, he developed an appreciation for the inefficiencies both of paper based order verification and conventional tape recording equipment. His experience at SkyTel led him to the initial concept of VoiceLog, which was designed to make it highly convenient to record telephone transactions between a telemarketing representative and his or her customer.

Strong strategic planning and the ability to conceptualize how customer needs can be solved with available technology has given Jim the skills to help propel VoiceLog into a market leadership position.

Jim has a BA from Bates College and an MBA from Pace University.

Larry Leikin, Executive Vice President, Sales

Larry's experience is wide-ranging, with positions in venture capital, retailing, and telecommunications.

Larry's experience makes him a highly effective sales and marketing executive. At SkyTel he developed a network of sales agents and resellers for strategic alliances. This background required native sales skills and the ability to conceptualize how to use different sales channels within an overall strategy. Product management skills developed at MCI give him the ability to represent VoiceLog's sophisticated products well.

In addition, Larry's tenacity and entrepreneurial self-initiative has made him highly effective in managing VoiceLog sales channel and growing the customer base through ongoing customer satisfaction.

Larry has a BA and an MBA from the University of Maryland.

Cynthia Hamilton, Executive Vice President, Operations

Cindy's experience is focused primarily in telecommunications in addition to administration and sales posts at IBM and the American Red Cross, respectively.

At SkyTel, she managed the marketing aspects of channel development, and maintained order in a chaotic and fast-growing environment. After her work at SkyTel, she provided marketing consulting at Bell Atlantic (now Verizon), Conectiv, and Cable and Wireless. In all these areas she was highly regarded and known for her ability to help make things happen.

Cindy's background in marketing and internal management has been critical in structuring the company for rapid growth and helping to prioritize its goals.

Cindy has a BA from the University of Maryland and an MBA from Johns Hopkins University.

Karl Erickson, Vice President and CTO

Karl has twenty years of professional experience in the development and delivery of computer software systems. His areas of expertise include Software Engineering, Project Management, Distributed Systems Architecture, High-availability Systems, Enterprise-level and Mobile Data Replication, and Digital Signal Processing.

Karl has been with VoiceLog since July 2002. Karl has also worked in various Software Engineering positions with SRI International, Loral Aerospace, and Lockheed.

Karl's skill and extensive technical experience gives VoiceLog a vital competitive edge in providing advanced, high availability systems with unparalleled reliability.
