What is Third Party Verification (TPV)?

TPV is the process of having a separate company confirm with your customer that they are actually ordering the product or service that you are selling. By placing the customer on the telephone or Internet with us, via a transfer, three-way call or Web transfer, we will obtain the identity of the customer, confirm that they are an authorized decision maker and will review the details of their order.

TPV is required or authorized by the FCC and most states for all telecom service changes and by many states for changes in electric and natural gas service. In addition, the FTC requires a process similar to TPV for many orders and we have several clients who use TPV for healthcare confirmations, financial service authorizations and other areas.
