VoiceLog and First Marketing Partner to Launch e-Kit™ to Immediately Welcome New Telecom & Utility Service Subscribers
Welcome e-mail program gives service providers the ability to communicate with new customers within minutes after third-party verification is completed

VoiceLog, a leading provider of third-party verification services, and First Marketing, an industry leader in direct marketing services, today announced the availability of the e-Kit™. The e-Kit is an electronic welcome program designed to give communications service providers, competitive utility companies and other marketers the ability to communicate with their new customers immediately following the completion of third-party verification. As an added value, the e-Kit can curb customer churn after a carrier change, reduce customer confusion during the carrier change and improve the new sign-up welcome experience.

Under the agreement, VoiceLog will notify First Marketing when a new subscriber's third party verification is valid. First Marketing will then generate an electronic welcome kit via e-mail, containing everything a customer needs to use his or her new service.

"Typically, when a customer signs up for new service, a paper-based welcome kit goes out 7-10 days after the service order, oftentimes creating the perception that service hasn't yet been switched," says David Goldstone, managing director of First Marketing's Voice Video and Data division. "By partnering with VoiceLog, we can now provide an online welcome kit to customers within minutes instead of days, which will obviously help service providers reduce the number of new customers with buyer's remorse."

As an added value, the e-Kit tracks e-mail communications, verifies customer e-mail addresses, confirms if the e-mail was opened and even identifies portions of the e-mail with high readership. Full reporting is included at no additional charge.

Current VoiceLog customers will not require any additional development to utilize the e-Kit, since the program has been integrated in VoiceLog's current operating system. In most cases, the e-Kit can be deployed within days of notifying either VoiceLog or First Marketing.
