VoiceLog® Makes INC 500 List of Fastest-Growing Private Companies Second Straight Year
October 3, 2003 - Gaithersburg, MD
VoiceLog LLC, the world-leader in Third Party Verification and Call Center Recording Services, has been ranked as one of America’s fastest-growing private companies, by INC magazine - the second year in a row VoiceLog has qualified for this prestigious list.
VoiceLog provides automated and live operator third party verification for over half of all US telecommunications companies using third party verification, as well as electric utilities, natural gas providers, financial services companies and others. From a handful of clients in 1998, VoiceLog grew by 597%, securing position #302 on the INC list.
"Our successful introduction of live operator verification last year really helped position us for this growth," said Larry Leikin, Vice President of Sales. "Although we’ve always been dominant in automated verification, we’re now verifying thousands of sales per day with both Spanish and English operators, with the capability to support many more customers and languages."
A unique low-cost approach to live operator services has fueled the company’s success in live operator verification. Using a combination of traditional call-center services and at-home agents, VoiceLog has been able to provide industry-leading service levels while offering significant savings on verification costs. Recently, VoiceLog has acquired a new call center platform that will enable the company to expand its service capability, while increasing reliability and technical capabilities.
"VoiceLog has always been aggressive in developing new services and responding to customer needs," said Jeff Bornstein of Telecommunications on Demand. "It’s natural that they would be so successful, given their consistent desire to keep their clients satisfied."
"The entrepreneurs you’ll find on the Inc. 500 have the type of attitude we need to get this economy moving again," said Inc. editor-in-chief John Koten. "For them, a tough market is not an excuse for poor performance, but an opportunity to innovate and rise above the competition."
"VoiceLog is already making the moves needed to be on future years’ INC 500 lists," said Jim Veilleux, President of VoiceLog. "With the introduction of VirtualLogger", our call center recording service that provides digital recording without huge capital expenses of a call logger, our new third-party quality monitoring services, and the deployment of a VoiceXML platform with speech recognition, VoiceLog expects to continue its growth in serving call centers throughout the world."
The Inc. 500 ranks privately held companies according to sales growth over the past five years. Over the years, the Inc. 500 has identified the next generation of world-class companies, with Microsoft, Stonyfield Farms, Timberland, Oracle, Princeton Review, Morningstar, E* Trade, Intuit and Domino’s Pizza all appearing on the list before they became industry powerhouses.
To be eligible for this year's Inc. 500, companies had to be independent and privately held through their fiscal year 2002, have had at least $200,000 in sales in the base year of 1998, and their 2002 sales had to exceed 2001 sales. Inc. verifies all information using tax forms and financial statements from certified public accountants and by conducting interviews with company officials.
