What’s a call logger?
Modern call loggers are industrial-grade digital recorders designed to record up to hundreds of simultaneous calls. Generally, they are installed at the call center by cross connecting to the telephone carrier’s lines (trunk side) or the extension lines that run to each agent’s station (station side).
Call loggers can be configured to record all calls or just a sample of calls and can record the entire call or just a portion.
Sometimes a call center will also want to match the call recording to data from the CDRs (call detail records) or CTI (computer-telephony integration) system.
VirtualLogger service by VoiceLog can provide the same functionality as standard call loggers, at a small fraction of the initial cost, allowing call centers to use this important technology without dipping into capital budgets or committing to evolving technology.
